I need some really big help. My team is 2-1 and the team we won against first beat the team we lost against later on in the month. They just got a new player who just sits back and as soon as we blitz he runs but if we dont blitz he throws. We need some offensive plays to keep up with and some defensive plays. They have to be 7 man and only three men can go out for the ball. Take a look at this play and tell me if u think this will work.
Defense

( | | /)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
| | |

1- stays man against man and really covers there weaker side
2&5- blitz out to the right and in containg the runs and qb sneaks
3&4- just go straight containg the run up the middle and hopefully stopping the pass.
6- is actually the stronger faster and better catch of the two on his side(6&7)
He is the guy u know can stop the pass and is fast enough to cover up for the other corner.
7- just goes out to make sure the qb cant throw it.

USA captures Title in Final minute!!!
Canada comes up short as USA battles back for a 10-9 victory.
What a game!! A highly favored USA squad found themselves losing 9-0 at half-time. The Canadian team, lead by QB Andrew Peterkin, jumped out early on their first drive with a 40 yard td strike to glen cooper. The extra point was wide right and later proved to be costly. The USA team encountered problems on there first drive as the team dropped several passes from QB Jim Dutra. The First play of the game was an 50 yard reverse to roly reyes which was called back for blocking down field for more then 5 yards.
Canada then scores on a 30 yard field goal by Bruno Petrelli to finished the first half scoring and Canada took a commanding lead at half time 9-0. In the second half darren Hedges kicked a 40 yard field goal to bring the score to 9-3.With 7 minutes remaining Jim Dutra came on the field determined to score, using all his weapons, the shifting running of Tony baker, the speed of Brian Finn, and the great hands and quickness of Todd Jones, Dutra set the final charge in motion. Mixing passes and rushes to perfection Dutra marched the USA down field, the offense line held back a strong Canadian Rush, Bob Hayden, Billy Madden, and Brett Gavin gave Dutra 7 seconds to complete the A 20 yard TD Pass to Chad Phillips with just 38 seconds. The USA took the lead when Darrne hedges kicked the extra point to make it 10-9. The Canadians had one final drive, A 20 yard pass from Peterkin to Billy Durocher brought the Canadians to with in field goal range, but where pushed back by a strong defense line, A batted pass by Chad Phillips then Roly Reyes and then on the final play defensive end Kevin Kurek sacked the Canadian QB to end the game.

Hey, i was wondering if anybody had any good defensive 7 man strategies. I mostly run a modifies man to man (with a two man rush where the linebackers float)but i was wondering if there were any effective zone defenses.
We are about to start the football game for the Purple vs. Gold events at Montevallo, the oldest college tradition in the U.S., and I and the purple side would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks,
Ben

I am a QB in a very competative indoor league in Maryland. We play 7 on 7 with 3 down linemen on offense who are ineligable recievers. We are allowed to block down field, and it is a great way to play. I know it is not recognized by any associations, but it makes for great play. I was looking for some new plays out there. I have a great football mind but am looking for a fresh perspective. I will send some of my ideas to anyone who gives me their ideas. Respond to bur33@hotmail.com. Thanx
